Hexagon

Hexagon acquired Intergraph years ago, and a lot of agencies still call it by the old name. Scales from single dispatch centers up to statewide deployments.

Tyler Technologies

Aimed at small to mid-size agencies: call handling, incident management, and AVL mapping. Tyler also sells the larger Enterprise CAD for bigger agencies, built on the New World Systems product line Tyler acquired.

Formed from a 2018 to 2019 merger of TriTech, Superion, and Zuercher. One of the most widely deployed CAD platforms in the US, tying CAD, records, mobile, and jail management together.

Caliber Public Safety

Built specifically for 911 work. Markets itself as the leader in CAD-to-CAD data sharing, meaning neighboring agencies on completely different systems can still exchange incidents and resources in real time.

Newer, cloud-native platform positioned as a modern alternative to the legacy vendors above. In use at agencies including the San Diego Sheriff's Office.

Cloud-only by design. Updates happen automatically, and dispatchers can log in from any internet-connected device, which matters when a physical dispatch center goes down.
